The Mofonix Integrated Instrument and Headphones Snake has a straight, or a right-angle 1/4 inch plug for your instrument, plus a 3.5mm (1/8”) headphone jack for your in-ear monitors (IEMs) or headphones. By locating your Mofones Headphone Amplifier near your instrument channel's input, you don't have to wear a box on your belt, or deal with more cords hanging from your body. The instrumentalist enjoys the functionality of personal monitoring with the comfort of a single flexible instrument cable.
The amplifier side of the Mofonix Instrument and Headphone Snake has a straight 1/4-inch plug for your audio system's instrument input and a 3.5mm (1/8”) headphone plug for your headphone amplifier. By combining a miniature Mogami® W2697 stereo headphone cable and a miniature Canare® GS-4 instrument cable, a single integrated snake, about the thickness of a standard instrument cable is created.
The Canare GS-4 miniature instrument cable has a tough but flexible PVC jacket around a high strand count 22AWG copper conductor with double carbon and braided outer shielding. This low capacitance and low resistance cable is designed for use with high impedance pickups found in electric instruments, and its double carbon conductive polyvinyl sleeve, and braided copper shielding, provide very low handling noise even when used with high gain amplification.
Techflex® PET (polyethylene terephthalate) woven covering is cut and abrasion resistant. It provides a durable and flexible sheath around multiple miniature wires, combining them into a high tensile strength, flexible and roadworthy multi-cable snake. The snag free exterior makes for wonderful handling and easy bundling, while the adhesive-lined, dual-wall polyolefin heat-shrink creates a durable bond and reliable strain relief.

Included Rip-Tie® cable wrap helps attach the cable to your instrument's strap and makes bundling simple.
